Spring is almost near and nature is getting ready. These Apricot tree blossoms are the perfect introduction to it.

This was edited in Lightroom and Mextures. The only major change was the sky. It was a deep blue but I changed it to a softer lilac in Lightroom.

Enjoy!

This weeks wallpaper is a minimal wallpaper of pink daisies I photographed this week. I had really great (natural) lighting therefore very little editing was needed. The little adjustments to contrast and color were all done in Lightroom.

Enjoy!

Weeks of rainy days means that my camera roll is filled with rain drops on something pictures. I utilized one of those picture for this week’s wallpaper. Calla lily leaves are the support behind them. I edited it in Lightroom and with the Mextures iOS app.

Enjoy!

Like last week, today'st wallpaper is softer with the colors and friendly with home screens and the various colors icons come in. I was working on a Tetris-like pattern and somewhere down I changed my mind and wanted something even simpler. This is the result! All done through Photoshop and exported into Mextures on iPad for texture purposes.

Enjoy!

I wanted to work on something with hearts since Valentine’s Day is this week. I started with chat bubbles and somehow ended up with Instagram’s liked notifications. I didn’t care for the obvious pink and reds so I decreased the saturation whilst layering a cooler palette. All this in Photoshop and Illustrator.

Enjoy!

This weeks wallpaper was inspired by the checkered pattern in a blank Photoshop file . I’ve made it a colorful version and added two other grids for dimension. All done in Photoshop and the Pocreate App in my iPad Pro.

Enjoy.

Last Friday I took an impromptu trip to the beach. A few hours and a few pictures later I had a few contenders for this weeks wallpaper. I went with the simpler one for homescreen screen clarity purposes. Processed through Lightroom and Mextures.

This weeks wallpaper is from a photo I took on my iPhone last year. If there’s flowers involved, I’ll have more pictures than I know what to do with. When I can’t really decide on a certain wallpaper or nothing is coming together like I envision, I go into my collection of older photos that I’ve never done anything with.

I edited on my phone sometime when I shot it. I imported into Mextures for the final touches.

Enjoy!

If you’re in the states, you’ve probably heard of Trader Joe’s. It’s a chain of grocery stores, for those unfamiliar. The first thing to greet you as soon as you come in is a decent size section of various flowers and arrangements. Rare the time I don’t come home with some. This weeks wallpaper is from the recent grocery store trip. Two mini rose bouquets, in lilac and pink. Edited through Lightroom and Mextures on iOS.

Enjoy!

’Tis the season! The wallpapers for the rest of 2018 will be holiday inspired/themed. This first one is a couple of wrapped gifts I had started mixed with some ornaments and twinkly lights. I edited in Lightroom to darken and reduce the greens. Mextures and Photoshop provided the last few tweaks.

Enjoy!

This weeks wallpaper is one I randomly doodled on my iPad (Pro). The original image was done in a pencil brush, and I found the grainy strokes clashed with the icons. I imported into Photoshop to soften the lines and colors.

That was it! Hope you all enjoy.

Another wallpaper courtesy of my parents' yard. My dad's green thumb to be precise. These guys look like regular ol’ limes but are actually sweet limes. I’ve never heard of them and thought my parents were mislabeling when they told me they planted this. They turn yellow once ready and are very very sweet. They were gathering some that were weighing some of the branches down, and I grabbed my camera once I saw that sunlight come through their kitchen!

As usual, the final product is a combination of Lightroom and Mextures .

Enjoy.

11in iPad Pro Impressions

The iPad Pro is a very powerful device. With the 11in you get more screen real estate than the 10. 5in in a smaller form factor due to the edge to edge display. The 12.9in iPad retains the screen size while reducing the bezels and making the device smaller than the original. The new compact size of both models is compelling, the new pencil features are fun, and the keyboard is convenient. Should you get one? I can't answer that. Only you can. You are looking at an entry point of $800.00, and that's for the WiFi 11in model with 64 GB of storage. Add $130 for the Pencil and $180 for the Smart Keyboard, and you are over $1100. 00 before taxes. If the iPad is your primary computing device, go for it. If you are new to the iPad and don't need all of the bells and whistles, then stick with the 10. 5in Pro starting at $650 or the 10. 5in iPad starting at $330. I didn't *need* the new iPad, but I wanted it for Face ID. So far I'm pleased with my purchase though I do miss the larger size a little bit. I'm sure I will overcome that. I'd love to hear your feedback below.

This weeks wallpaper is from this new tree in my backyard. I’m unsure of the type as it was a gift, but it grows with minimal care and is the most beautiful shade of green. I decided to emphasize that in Photoshop and Lightroom. I eventually exported to my iPad where I applied the last touches (edits) via Mextures and the ACS app.

I hope you all enjoy.

This weeks wallpaper was born from me warping dots in Photoshop. I created a pattern from it and warped away without any real purpose or idea. I had something I liked but didn’t translate well into screen. Enter Mextures app. A few layers and the image was softened and sharpened in the right places.

I hope you all enjoy!

A few weeks ago, in preparation for October and its Fall “mood,” I got some pumpkins. They were for decorative purposes and didn’t really know what to do with them outside of that. Earlier this week I was testing lighting on a new background and ended up using the tiny pumpkins as a focus point. A few edits in Mextures, Lightroom, and Photoshop and this weeks wallpaper is born!

I hope you all enjoy.
