This weeks wallpaper is a sunrise picture of an apricot tree in my parents yard. This week the temperature has hit the three digits so my goal was to edit it to feel this way. Lightroom and Mextures was where it all happened.

Enjoy!

A few days ago, there was sunlight peaking through this pomegranate tree. I went inside, grabbed a few roses and placed them right in the center of it all. Worked a few different angles and this weeks wallpaper happened. I still exaggerated the sunlight, a bit, in Photoshop, then exported to Mextures.

Enjoy.

This wallpaper was my attempt at a dark minimal pattern. Somehow, along the way, it turned into a lighter one with a honeycomb in the background. I exported it through Mextures to give it some grit which made a homescreen legible instead of overwhelming/blinding.

Enjoy!

Cleaning up the all the files on my iPad, I came upon a few wallpaper ideas I merely started. I have no idea where I was going with some of them but I saved them on my computer for future wallpaper/inspiration purposes. This is one of the files saved! It’s a pattern of sorts, in Photoshop I smudged the rougher edges and added a rainbow gradient. A softer background makes it easy on the eyes and on the homescreen; my intended use for it.

Enjoy!

So now onto this week's wallpaper submission:

This week I’ve found myself under the weather and the one thing I always turn to, to force myself to slow down, is doodling. Whether on my iPad Pro, Photoshop on my MacBook or a sheet of paper. There’s rarely every anything recognizable or worth keeping but once in a while, I spot potential. This is from my iPad. I was playing around with the brushes in Procreate and many many layers after, this is the result.

I exported to Photoshop for basic editing and then Mextures where I gave it this 80’s pastel vibe.

Enjoy!

This weeks wallpaper started with a blur of one of a sunset picture. There were sharp lines because of the objects (palm trees) in the picture that made it look like ocean waves. Drawn ones, that is. I decided to emphasize that with various textures and shadows (in Photoshop).

Random shape doodles, done on the iPad Pro, make up this weeks wallpaper. They were initially in full color but it was too busy for my taste. I softened and recolored in Photoshop and put the final version through Mextures for some of that darkness and grit.

This weeks wallpaper is some pattern doodling on my iPad Pro. In Procreate (app) you’re able to work with layers therefore the majority of the work was done within. I exported to Photoshop to polish and resize.

Every week I get fresh flowers. Roses seem to be always available at my Trader Joe’s therefore a common flower in my home (and pictures). I combined two, purple and white, in one vase and took a few d̶o̶z̶e̶n̶ photos.

As I usually do, I edited in Lightroom, Mextures, and Photoshop.

Enjoy.

Spring is almost near and nature is getting ready. These Apricot tree blossoms are the perfect introduction to it.

This was edited in Lightroom and Mextures. The only major change was the sky. It was a deep blue but I changed it to a softer lilac in Lightroom.

This weeks wallpaper is a minimal wallpaper of pink daisies I photographed this week. I had really great (natural) lighting therefore very little editing was needed. The little adjustments to contrast and color were all done in Lightroom.

Like last week, today'st wallpaper is softer with the colors and friendly with home screens and the various colors icons come in. I was working on a Tetris-like pattern and somewhere down I changed my mind and wanted something even simpler. This is the result! All done through Photoshop and exported into Mextures on iPad for texture purposes.

I wanted to work on something with hearts since Valentine’s Day is this week. I started with chat bubbles and somehow ended up with Instagram’s liked notifications. I didn’t care for the obvious pink and reds so I decreased the saturation whilst layering a cooler palette. All this in Photoshop and Illustrator.

This weeks wallpaper is from a photo I took on my iPhone last year. If there’s flowers involved, I’ll have more pictures than I know what to do with. When I can’t really decide on a certain wallpaper or nothing is coming together like I envision, I go into my collection of older photos that I’ve never done anything with.

I edited on my phone sometime when I shot it. I imported into Mextures for the final touches.

Enjoy!
